Iconic Vermont inn (it was in the famous Budweiser Christmas commercial) that was recently renovated and now has a great restaurant which includes wood fired pizzas. Also a nice bar area, all family friendly and casual.

The Ransom Tavern serves Neapolitan fare and has a great wine cellar.

Ransom Tavern in South Woodstock has a great bar and a restaurant that specializes in gourmet pizza. I'm a fan of the meatballs and the salads.
