20 min walk or 5 min by car, lovely beach and park areas. Walk around to Takapuna from the Milford beach.

A great spot for young kids - with an excellent playground. Right on the beach. They also have built in BBQ's so you can cook your meals at the beach! But take coins as I believe you need to pay for them.
