You may be in town for a wedding at this local favorite. Situated on what was once a 106-acre horse farm, Slightly Different Nursery and Gardens still retains the beauty of the 3+ miles of 5-board Kentucky fencing... as well as a classic red barn in it's midst. A working farm for hybridizing daylilies on an international scale, the views over the foothills and mountains span over 70 miles from the favored "wedding spot"... under "Big Red" (an old maple on top of our knoll), where one can see out over our National Display Gardens, 6 counties, and the Cherry and South Mountains. Stunning, quaint, and for sure... "slightly different"!
