This place is famous for its fish ball char kuoy teow which is only available in Taiping. The stall to go to is no.78 and next to it is a Wan Tan Mee shop which is one of the best in Taiping.

Lots of choices of hawker stalls. There's a Chinese food section beside a Muslim section. Cheap and good hawker food.

Larut Matang Hawker Centre is probably the most popular local eatery in Taiping. The hawker centre amasses over a hundred stalls under one roof, serving all sorts of hawker dishes across many ethnicities.

If you are looking for a hearty breakfast or a fulfilling lunch in Taiping, then look no further than Larut Matang Hawker Centre. The hawker centre is divided into two sections: halal and non-halal section which is an uncommon phenomena in Malaysia. Food must eat: Fishball Fried Kuey Teow, Wantan Mee, Kwer Teow Soup, Nyoya Kuih, Prawn Mee, Hor-Ka-Sai (kopi+Milo) and so on. You just randomly pick and it will not disappoint you. The price of food is cheap too!
