The Angel Oak is both a stunning and coveted sight to see during a visit to Charleston. A beautiful place to sight see with the family and kiddos. Make an afternoon of it and pack for a picnic underneath the giant limbs of the oldest oak tree in South Carolina.
The most amazing tree I have ever seen! Said to be one of the oldest trees in the United States. On Johns Island. A great day trip and then stop by the Tattooed Moose for their duck club sandwich. Also recommend the Wild Olive, The Royal Tern, Fat Hen and Low Tide Brewery.
Its a giant, beautiful tree; it’s very nice, serene and a great place to take pictures.
One of the prettiest things I’ve ever seen! It’s so unbelievable and serene! It also happens to be FREE!
