Great brunch, coffee, and brunch cocktails! Beautiful bread from their bakery in Detroit. The waits can get long, reservations recommended.

Amazing food and coffee. There's a lot of space to get work done or read a book. There is also a restaurant side (they do a great brunch) and they have a bar as well.

Avalon is relatively new to downtown A2, but they have been a Detroit staple for many years. The food and ambience are excellent. They’ve got jazz bands playing some nights. Famous for the breads (Motown Multigrain is my favorite.) The food is organic, healthy, tasty. Not too expensive.
