The Palomar Restaurant is in the tranquil and picturesque town of Santiago. Traditional Mexican food is served in a shady courtyard setting looking into a lush garden ($+). It's a simple little place that also rents rooms, although I've never spend the night there yet. - From here you can make your way into the surrounding mountains in search of the elusive HOT SPRINGS.
