Connel Coffee

A specialist ikebana cafe inside the transcendentally beautiful Sogetsu Building—HQ of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana. The second-floor cafe offers a view of the Takahashi Korekiyo Memorial Park and the trees of Akasaka Palace, so you feel as if you’re sitting in nature as you drink tea. The inside of the building is adorned throughout with ikebana, too. Aside from the cafe, there’s lots to see in the Sogetsu Building, especially the stone garden called Heaven designed by world-renowned artist Isamu Noguchi on the ground floor and a Japanese-style room on the fifth floor that’s decorated with ikebana art both large and small.
