Walking out to the lighthouse is a fantastic way to be outdoors, enjoy the views and local scenery., or watch boats motoring in and out of the river. Usually, one would see fishermen lining up the jetty, patiently waiting for a fish to bite. There is so much to see here. The sunsets and afterglow are beautiful from this point. The lighthouse has been there for around 200 years. It also makes for a nice backdrop or the main focus of photoshoots.

Enjoy a walk to the lighthouse on the pier. Occasionally music, art or foodie activities. But just worth it for a stroll, to look out over the water and beach.

Built in 1850 for better navigation of ships in Lake Erie. Port Dover historically was known for its ship building and fishing industries, which made this lighthouse an iconic one in its time.

Fantastic beach with everything around you to make a beach day what it should be, food/drinks/ice cream and a wonderful cleaned daily sandy beach with some of the best swimming around, very suitable for families or whomever enjoys just chilling at the beach
