About 70% of the stock here are used kimonos. I guess my biggest impression of this store is that the owner’s sense of style is really top-notch. She loves Edo-iki, a refined, chic style from the Edo period. You can get a kimono and an obi belt for as little as ¥10,000, or you can bring a bigger budget and drop as much as ¥50,000. One really unique thing I like about this place is that the owner sells luxurious-looking haori-himo, which are traditional cords you use to close the haori jacket worn over a kimono. The cords she has are adorned with beautiful stones, and they’re much easier to close than cords made with just string.
