This are is also called the River Market. There are a few shops and on the weekend there is a great farmers market.

Besides produce and local meat and dairy farmers, there is a flea market on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as specialty shops, music and a few scattered places for prepared deliciousness. Beignet is one of my favorites.

On the weekends, this is a combination farmer's market and flea market. Check out flower vendors, local goat yogurt, homemade dog treats, antiques for sale (and you can usually barter) and more. Lots of shops and restaurants in the pavilion and around the River Market area.
