Camperdown Memorial Rest Park is where Newtown comes out to play. Great for early evening beers on the grass or to picnic in the sun. Many of the surrounding walls host some of Newtown's funky street art.

This is a wonderful dog friendly park, where people can go to picnic and chill. It's located near Newtown so perfect for easy access to bars and restaurants.

Another great local park to walk the dog or have a picnic. Playground for the kids. An old graveyard at one end with very Gothic headstones if you want to be spooked!

Take a book and some beers or a bottle of wine to the park and have a lovely afternoon and evening sitting on the grass. There's always lots of people here and dogs, drinking and having fun. Fire twirlers come at night time. Great for a super local budget-friendly day out with friends or by yourself.
