The Long Island Museum has a great art museum, a carriage museum, an old schoolhouse and historic cemetery. You may notice a gravestone for "OC" aka "Office Cat." Office Cat was a beloved member of the LIM family and when he passed in the 80s, the staff broke with museum protocol and buried him near the historic cemetary. I went for the first time last week and will be back. So much fun!
