Toca do Vinicius was founded on September 27, 1993 by the then Professor Carlos Alberto Afonso and is headquartered Vinicius de Moraes Street, 129 C, in Ipanema. Books / about music, sheet music and songbooks of Brazilian music, dvds and Brazilian music CDs, with an emphasis on local music - choro, samba classic and more especially samba bossa nova. The Library also makes available second-hand LPs for collectors and other aficionados and themed souvenirs in various materials.
