The museum is open Thursday through Saturday from 10am-2pm. Grounds tours are available during that time, in which you can see the animals, historic properties and walking path. They also have a Christmas lights display in December. Double check website for details.

The heritage farmstead museum is the premiere living history site interpreting the Texas Blackland Prairie in North Texas. An American Association of Museums accredited institution, the HFM strives to offer encounters with objects and ideas for people of many ages, interests and backgrounds.
