The beautiful city of Bend, Oregon has made the list of top 100 places to stay and visit on numerous occasions. From the fun, historic downtown area with numerous renowned local breweries, to the upscale Old Mill District, the city offers a variety of food and entertainment choices. If you prefer to enjoy the scenery and experience the outdoors, the Cascade Range lakes and hiking trails are endless and amazing!

Bend is a popular bustling Central Oregon City well known for an abundance of everything that represents Central Oregon. If you decide to venture out from serenity into the hub of high desert City life, head approximately 33 minutes northeast on US-97.

If you want to go explore Bend, it’s just a 15-20 minute drive North down Highway 97 to the Bend Factory Outlet Stores, the Old Mill District (our outdoor shopping mall) and The Box Factory for shopping, dining and movies. You can find great locally made art and jewelry at the Workhouse located in the Old Iron Works. Downtown Bend has cute shops, restaurants, and locally owned businesses.

Be certain to enjoy all Bend has to offer from the Old Mill District to Historic Downtown Bend. Our favorite restaurants include: Pine Street Tavern McMenamins St. Francis Hotel and Restaurant The Lemon Tree (for Breakfast and Lunch) Currents @ The River House Walk along the Deschutes river and enjoy feeding the ducks at Drake Park.

Downtown Bend offers a little bit of everything. Great restaurants and food, Breweries, Shopping, The Library, Drake Park etc. You will need to go several times before you see it all.
