Awesome lake for swimming... there is a canal not far from there off the railroad tracks that I can tell you about!

If you like hiking and walking while spending time in nature you must visit this park. Although Laurie is a camping ground park, you can enter it without camping. It's located on Grand Lake and very affordable for walking, especially in the evening before the dark.

The park offers a quiet lakeside setting for a wide variety of outdoor activities including canoeing, water skiing, fishing, kayaking, swimming, and walking. There are lakeside picnics tables located throughout the park, also a great spot ( for all you runners out there) to go for a run.

Paved path on the gorgeous Grand Lake. Great Swimming and jumping off the rocks if you are a tad brave! Wonderful to go for a 1/2 walk through the whole park or to bike around. Expect to see locals here in summer.
