This is a neat stop if you want to experience a very Texas bar inside of a very Texas historic hotel. Very Texas meaning cowboy-like decor. It's full of celebs during SXSW and the Austin Film Festival. It's also apparently haunted;) You must order the truffle popcorn!

The Driskill is the longest operating hotel in Texas. Beyond the history and ghost stories is a cute old bar in the back.

The bar is one of the oldest iconic sites in the city, if you love a dueling piano bar with the finest decorations, comfortable couches and great vibe...this is the place! The drinks are fine too...

The best place to grab some fresh bakery goods if you're in the downtown area before noon! You can also catch a horse drawn carriage ride here at night!
