The Muieriilor Cave was carved in the limestone mesozoice on the southern edge of the Parang Massif by the Yellow River. With a very rich history, the cave in ancient times was sheltered during the wars, when the men went to battle, many children and women, and hence the name. It is the first electrified cave in Romania. The cave has a length of approximately 7,000 meters arranged in 4 levels. The lower level is the cave reserve divided into two sectors: the northern sector (1,500m) and the southern sector (880m). At a height of 40 meters is the upper floor designed for tourists with a length of 573 m, reaching a length of 1,228 meters a network of diverticals very difficult to access.
