World Class Fly Fishing, River Floats, Hiking, Big Horn Sheep, Wildlife & Bird Watching, Hiking, Scenic Drive, Campgrounds, State Parks, Canyon Winery for Wine tasting, Canyon River Ranch for meals, guided fishing, fly shop. Take the Back road from Brew House Boarding! Go toward I_90 on Main St. go over the over pass and keep going straight until you reach the end of the road. Turn R on Thrall Rd and follow it until you reach the end of the road. Turn L, you are now on the Canyon River Hwy. It will take you all the way to Selah, WA if you want to go that far. Roughly half way down the Canyon you can stop for a bite to eat at the Canyon River Ranch. A little pricey, but delicious with a view

The canyon road between Ellensburg and Yakima offers spectacular views, desert hiking and camping, fishing and lots of stops for river floats. Tubes are available at Fruitvale Tire Center, just off the freeway.

People come from the world around to fish the Yakima River. The canyon itself is a spectacular drive. There is hiking throughout.
