Syracuse has two local breweries: Middle Ages and Empire. Empire Brew Pub, in Armory Square, offers a great menu in a lively atmosphere. They have a famous Sunday morning Jazz Brunch. Pretty sure it is always first-come-first-served, so arrive early if you want to avoid a wait! Great food, reasonable prices.

If you are looking for a microbrewery where you can also dine on locally sourced fare, Empire is the place to go! They have standard american cuisine as well as a few dishes with a west-coast twist. Their fish tacos are awesome!

They have the best farm to table fair, and the truffle fries... Don't get me started!!! Great beer on tap and its kinda neat eating below ground.
