First Bay Beach is located south of Coolum Main Beach and is a beautiful and secluded area on the Sunshine Coast. Perfect for swimming, walking the many rock pools and access to some surf spots, this beach is a recommended visit if spending a few days in Coolum.

First Bay at Coolum is a stunning local bay, great to explore the rock pools on both sides of the bay, and often has great surf. Good protection from south-southeast and northeast winds.

Stunning bay in Coolum great for beach time, rock pools, swimming & surfing. Be mindful that there are no flags set up here and the beach is unpatrolled.

One of the most scenic beaches in Coolum, First Bay is a little stretch of sand surrounded by rock pools, headlands and lined with pandanus trees. Great surf spot at First & Second Bay.
