If you fancy treating yourself to a more upmarket restaurant try “ The Duck “ a little more pricy than the usual . You have to book this place in advance. Well worth a visit if you don’t mind paying the extra.

The Duck at Marlfield House in Gorey is a perfect place for relaxing lunch, drinks with your friends or to enjoy a cocktail in the sunshine on the terrace.

We highly recommend one of our favourite restaurants- for all occasions. Lunch or dinner, the duck has the nicest food (and cocktails), in a fabulous setting. For silver service and special occasions, Marlfied house (beside the duck restaurant) is worth booking. Marlfied house and the duck restaurant is only a 20 minute drive away.

Excellent food, reasonably priced. Set in beautiful gardens. Dine inside or outside in the summer.

Really nice atmosphoere, great food, a wee bit more expensive than other loca restaurants but it's worth it.
