Wild elk feeding station January/February. Located on The White Pass Scenic Byway (Hwy 12) less than 30 mins from downtown Yakima.
During the winter, hundreds of elk can show up at the Oak Creek Elk Feeding Area. There is a tour truck, so the elk can be viewed up close. January and February are the best months for viewing, but the elk show up from mid-November to March. It's a must visit for wildlife lovers of all ages.
In the winter, you can see a herd of 1000 elk in one place. On weekends, you can take an old military truck into the herd. Amazing to watch them fight and eat...There are also dahl sheep.

“This is a MUST visit if you’re wanting to check out the wine country in Washington! The wine is fresh and flavorful. The host is VERY knowledgeable about their products, the history of wine, and Washington’s wine story. You can also hike the vineyard and take pictures. Tasting prices are fair and are waived with the purchase of a bottle.”
