Busses 31, 30, 21 and 20 pass here. Tram 12 and 13. All transportation take you near Oslo Central station and Nationaltheater so you can easily get back and forth to the airports Gardemoen, Rygge and Torp.

There are two public parks in the area, Hydroparken in the west and the tiny Sommerroparken in the north. a lot of restaurants and bars.In the southwest lies the National Library of Norway. Further east are several commercial buildings, and the headquarters of the Federation of Norwegian Commercial and Service Enterprises.
