Amelia Earhart is a legend and was born right here in Atchison. The museum in town has a lot of first person artifacts and letters from her life. Plus, it has a great view of the Missouri River.

It is a must for first time visitors to Atchison. A beautiful historic home with all the history from birth to disappearance of Atchison's favorite daughter/pilot.

How could we not recommend this place? Our guests will only be 1 hour from Amelia Earhart's birthplace. The home is now a museum and offers tours. Atchison has plenty of treasure trove's for antique hunters!
