Scandic-meets-The-Lakes at this intimate restaurant, where wooden planks line the walls and sheepskins cover the chairs. Menus come in a surprise format and complex dishes are delivered to the table with equally detailed descriptions. Ingredients are well-sourced and meats are roasted over the fire.

Excellent food, locally produced. A bit pricey but worth it. The team are immensely proud of their produce and even go foraging for local herbs and plants.

I still talk about a meal I had here years ago (pre children!!!) Not been for ages but cannot wait to return. Such exciting inventive cooking. It's in the Michelin Guide. Quirky menu for real foodies....

Imaginative menus that change regularly and fantastic service. Serves Northern European food and local produce. A very special place.
