About OPEN At Wits OPEN at Wits is located within the new Tshimologong Precinct, initiated by the Johannesburg Centre for Software Engineering (JCSE) and Wits University. It is located two blocks south of Wits Senate House in Braamfontein. OPEN at Wits is focused on the convergence of software, hardware and content and on developing the tech startup culture in Johannesburg and on the African continent.
