Cairns Aquarium is a world class venue for seeing and interacting with the incredible plants and animals of Tropical North Queensland. Well worth a visit.

This aquarium is brand new and takes you from rainforest to reef through local ecosystems. All of the 10,000 animals are from the local rivers and ocean.

Opening early 2017. Exciting new aquarium currently being built in Cairns. It will feature our local Marine and freshwater animals. Visitors will be able to see closeup all the stunning creatures that live here in North Queensland without having to travel all the way to the reef - especially good for those people who don't swim, don't travel well on boats or want to see the reef on a budget.
