Near the Japanese gardens and free. Definitely worth a visit if the roses are in bloom and beautiful views of Mt hood in the distance.

Over 10,000 bushes and 650 varieties of roses blooming April thru October (peak in June). Portland is called the Rose City for a reason!

Everything is literally coming up roses in Portland's International Rose Test Garden. June and July are when the scent of roses fills the air and epic views of the both the city and Mt. Hood can be enjoyed. From the rose gardens, it's a quick jaunt into NW Portland's Alphabet District for lunch or window shopping.

The stunning international Rose Garden in Washington Park operates April through October. There are over 10,000 rose bushes of approximately 650 varieties! Depending on weather, the peak can be seen in June.
