Just 10 miles from our trailer is an impeccable location - Lowdermilk park! Lowdermilk Park is another stellar public beach with a couple of sand volleyball courts, two playgrounds, and twin gazebos. Or check out Vanderbilt Beach, a family-friendly spot with concessions, loaner life jackets, and plenty of room to roam. Somewhere to secure the bikes, plenty car park spaces, a cafe, ice creams, water refills, restrooms and a big beach with plenty space to get lost on. Water is warm and clean. You be really hard pushed to find anything not to like about this location.

Best Family Beach in town! Loudermilk hosts sugarsand beaches, a sand volleyball court, two playgrounds, a beach cafe and so much more. Kayak, Canoe, and Paddleboard rentals available. Chairs and Umbrella rentals available seasonally.

One of my favorites! Depending on the time of year and the time of day, you can drive here in ten minutes. We like to go early! It opens at 6:00 am, but we go around 8:00. We've seen dolphin pods swimming close to shore, just inside the human swimming areas. It's a pay per parking, and there are great restrooms and beach showers. You can also use one of the permanent palapas, if you can snag one as soon as you get there. It's one of my favorite areas.
