The name of the church is Nossa Senhora do Monserrate do Rio de Janeiro, but nobody will have a clue of what you're talking about, because it is better known as Mosteiro de São Bento. The architecture is a master piece! On Sundays they used to have the choir singing Gregorian chants. First check if it is open for visitors again.

Bedazzling baroque church literally covered in gold. Gregorian chants sung on Sundays at 10am by the in-house Benedictine monks.
