Tossa de Mar is one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, once a meeting place for artists from all over the world, nicknamed the blue paradise by the painter Marc Chagall. Tossa de Mar dazzled actress Ava Gardner during her filming of "Pandora and the Flying Dutchman" whose memory shapes a scale statue in the city. Another of the present memories of this actress are her sweet kisses that are sold in pastry shops in the area, look for them by: kisses from Ava Gardner. My Tip: You can reach Tossa de Mar by car in 35 min or by Bus from the main Bus Station but if you want to spend a fantastic day , take the boat that starts from "Platja Gran" at only 10 min walk from the appartment. With the boat, you will enjoy a 1,5 hours tour through part of the Costa Brava from Platja d'Aro to Tossa de Mar. Ticket cost is at around 25-30 Euros per person both ways (10:30 start from Platja d'Aro and at 16:30 returns from Tossa)

It's a very beautiful and pintoresc town near the beach, i like a lot the medieval fortress and the Far (to guide the boats) the beach is nice and you can do a tour with boat not very expensive

Beautiful town in Costa Brava. Lovely to have a long walk, visit the castle and it's ancient walls, and have good food with a nice view.
