Clever Trevor has done the downhill bike ride on the Haleakala volcano several times, and it is a blast! Bike Maui used to offer a combination downhill bike ride / zipline tour that looked like a great value. However, after about 2020 Clever Trevor has called Bike Maui a few times and didn't hear back. If you are thinking about bicycling and checking out Haleakala at the same time, check out the many Maui Downhill bicycle self tours or guided tours. The package may include a van ride up to the top of Haleakala to watch sunrise or mid afternoon ride down paved roads of Haleakala. Very little peddling is needed as it is mostly all downhill. Book early and save with advance pricing. I do not have a particular company to recommend. There are several companies offering packages of this bike tour.
