Katherine Lake Beach is perfect for families with young children. Katherine Lake is family oriented and has a nice sandy beach, floating dock, lots of parking and washrooms. You can visit for the day or reserve a camping site. The camp sites have electrical outlets, fire pit areas and lots to do for families! There are always tons of kids riding their bikes, swimming to the dock and enjoying the turtles in the little lagoon are. Katherine Lake is one of the best spots on the Sunshine Coast for families to go with young children. This is a family/young children oriented beach and campground spot.
