Get on your bike in the morning, cross the island at the Elephant road (first T junction South of Malee Beach) then drive down to the old town to check the quaint shops and breakfast by the sea.

Koh Lanta's old town on the east coast is worth a visit. Very different to the west coast. Quiet main street with some local tourist shops and some good restaurants on stilts over the sea with great views of the local islands. Best to arrive before 8pm to eat as this town does not stay open late…
