San Juan de Dios market, also known as Mercado libertad, is next to Cabañas Hospice. You could plan a day trip to visit the exhibits and the frescoes of José Clemente Orozco inside the Cabañas Institute, and then get lost inside the market. It's a good place to find local and original presents and souvenirs at reasonable prices.
