Great ambiance and BBQ sandwiches (weekends only?)! Short drive away and perfect if you are going to spend a day in Santa Ynez/Solvang or hike in the mountains. Music on weekends (*check out their website for more detailed information coldspringtaverncom)

This historic location at the top of the Santa Ynez mountain’s pass at highway 154 is this legendary bar & restaurant! Go there on the weekend for live music and tri-tip sandwiches after a hike!

Cold Spring Tavern is ten min. from my property. It was an old stage coach stop, built in 1886, which is now a full restaurant and bar, with musicians on the weekends. Another historic place 15 min. from here is the Painted Cave, 15 min. from my property, painted in 1542 by the Chumash Indians, some of the drawings depict the arrival of Juan Cabrillo's ships in the Santa Barbara Harbor. The cave paintings have lasted almost 500 yrs.

For the best Tri-Tip Sandwich in the county, and possibly the world, head up the pass to Cold Springs Tavern on a Saturday or Sunday. The scene is pretty fun as a bunch of very casual bikers like to stop by with very nice motorcycles.
