Also known locally as 'The Top House'. Probably the nicest pub in the area. Really good beer and great food too. Dobcross is the most historic and prettiest of all Saddleworth's villages. Sitting outside this pub in the square in Summer is a must do. Bookings are a must for food in the evenings. The pub is about a 30 minute walk from the cottage, straight up the hill you can see from the front door.

Beautiful country pub in picture perfect village. Good food. Has mini theatre & quiz night on Thursday.
