Less than 30 mins away by public transport from the nearby Woolwich Arsenal station, Stratford shopping centre has lots of shopping and restaurants to explore for a day. You should definitely see the Olympic stadium which is 5 mins walk away.

Huge Westfields shopping centre with literally every shop required under one roof. Also has a nice rooftop champagne bar for drinks after shopping

Dwarfed by Westfield, but useful for local Boots Pharmacy, Sainsbury, WH Smith, High Street Banks and coffee bars/cafes.

Next to the station is the Stratford Shopping Centre, where you can get all your takeaway needs - McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Subway. There is also a food court where you can get Taiwanese fried chicken, bubble tea, chicken wings, and more. For healthy and beauty supplies, there's Boots, Superdrug, and Holland & Barretts.
