My favorite downtown Santa Monica restaurant. On the Ground floor of the historic Guarantee Trust Building (Clock Tower) in downtown Santa Monica. The building dates to 1928. The food is excellent and best quality. Try the Prime Rib Nik Niks (sliders) and share an order of fries. A little pricey, but not for Santa Monica. www.themisfitbar.com

This bar/restaurant is truly worth visiting. With happy hour from 2-7 every day, it's already a special place! Not only is the location in Santa Monica perfect (just off of 3rd St. Promenade), but the building is fascinating - a former bank with beautiful interior design. Not only are they known for their great food but also killer cocktails and sangria!

They have a $5 bar food special monday through friday. The best days are wed for the ahi tuna burger, and thursday for their regular burger. Both burgers ussually run $16, but during the those days, the price is only $5. Super tasty!

They don't take reservations, so best not to go at a busy time. A bit noisy but fun and great food!
