Locate the start of this trail on Belfast terrace. It will take some energy and reasonable level of fitness to walk the hour up to the 'Basket Of Dream' a sculpture found on Queenstown Hill. Walk a little further and find great views over the lake.

A decent hike to the summit, but great panoramic views of Queestown, the Remarkable, and Coronet Peak.

Yes it's steep but the views from the top make it worth it! Take a moment to rest in the 'Basket of dreams' or hike the extra few minutes to the summit for the best outlooks. Definitely take water and wear good shoes.

Starting from Belfast street you can drive or you can walk from MacKinnon Tce and make your way up Ballarat street to up the hill . I have done it on a full moon great views of Cecil and Walter Peak as well as the Remarkables.

Nice easy loop track 1.5 hours or so. Good views of Queenstown & surrounds
