Cala Saladeta, the smaller sibling of Cala Salada is such a lovely spot. Besides, in Cala Salada Restaurant I ate my firs Bollit de Peix + Arròs a Banda… possibly one of the most famous and delicious traditional dishes from The Island. As a curious fact, the way they prepare and serve such delicatessen extremely differs from the way it is prepared and served in the North of The Island. Stunning Cala Salada and its neighbouring equally as stunning Saladeta - Salada is large sweeping bay small shell pebble beached paired with the most beautiful white sandy cove that is reached by walking over some rocky platforms to get to the other side this is is a little uneven so careful as you go. Nestled in the forest the two beaches here are really popular during the summer months, early summer you can use the car park situated just slightly elevated above the beach, but soon as we hit high season, the PARK and RIDE is in operation meaning no car can go down and park up - the P&R is free and you can park your car in the car park of the Can Coix sports centre just a mere 3 min ride away, there is only 1 yes 1 restaurant - Restaurante Cala Salada - offers varied mediterrean menu - takes card - sells soft drinks and ice creams. Worth noting also MOJITO man normally rocks up and sells their awesome cocktails they tend to be a smidge pricey as of course there are no shops in the neighbourhood but there is something special about a last min cocktail - Also have the usual fruit/coconut sellers etc... but we do highly suggest you take cool box and packed lunch !

A small paradise that is accessed after walking along a pretty path that starts at Salada Cove. On this path you can admire from above the beauty of this cove of fine sand and emerald waters. Who wants the Caribbean when we have it on our doorstep?
