Although not really my scene, the Finger Wharf restaurant strip is a drawcard for a lot of visitors who dont mind paying extra to be on the harbour and mixing it with Sydney's more affluent. Most popular is China Doll. For a reality check, The Bells Hotel across the road often has a free sausage sizzle for patrons on a Tuesday, and then of course there is Harrys Pies, which is almost as famous as the Opera House around these parts

Great restaurants in a great location...or grab a pie at famous Harry's Cafe de Wheels down on the waterfront...stroll up the hill to Potts Point for more restaurants/bars
