BAR HARBOR—Best blackened haddock and clam chowder on the island. Pub food but very good and generous portions. Lots of options for everyone. GF bread, salads, burgers, seafood.... good place for a hearty lunch after a big hike.

A favorite of ours. Excellent pub food, especially their blackened haddock sandwich and friend pickles (check the specials list for the latter).

Local pub hangout has a menu of casual seafood dishes including fish sandwiches & chowder.

This is where all of the locals good. Good prices, large portions. The best fried seafood.
