There is a huge selection of choice for every budget in Brighton. We've tried many of them over the years so please feel free to ask for some recommendations. Most of the really popular restaurants will be booked Friday to Sunday so book in advance.

Probably the best value food in town. Imaginative and regularly changing menu, their dosas are to die for. Well chosen wine and beers help lift this above the competition. Indian summer is also fantastic but more expensive a less casual dinning experience, although the tarka dal is the best I have had.

Indian summer is also fantastic but more expensive a less casual dinning experience, although the tarka dal is the best I have had.
Vegan café 5 mins for the front door. Cakés, coffee and snakes for the ethically and healthy minded. Be sure to check out the Phoenix Gallery opposite (it's free).

Devil's Dyke RoadHuge park going into woods and then onto the South Downs. Take a bus or the train stops opposite the entrance. Stanmer Village is just round the back with team room/café. There's also a large antiques shop and Stanmer Organics is based out there which host a number of events and course during the year.
