We finally have great pizza near the house! This pizza place has a nice west-facing patio, good beer, and great pizza. It isn't as fancy as Pizzicleta downtown, but it is walkable from the casita and a favorite for locals.

Pick up a breakfast burrito here (microwaves in the coffee shop) and a cup of coffee on your way to the mountain. You can also access this via the secret trail if you ask me for directions.

This restaurant is owned by the same family that owns the famous MartAnne's downtown, but it is rarely as crowded! Try the chilaquiles and street tacos. This is about a 15 minute walk from the casita if you use the secret trail.

This iconic Flagstaff restaurant moved to a new location a few years ago, but hasn't changed a bit. Try the chilaquiles for breakfast or the posole for dinner. If you like the Dia de los Muertos art in the casita, you'll LOVE Emma Gardner's work at MartAnnes. They even serve beer with dinner.

Mother Road has one of the best patios in town because it faces west and catches that last sun of the day. They also have a great fire pit (chiminea) and excellent beer.

They have food and a nice wine selection... try the tapas. They also have a nice selection of board games for snowy winter nights or afternoons. If you can grab a table in the front, there is excellent people watching out the front windows.
