A nice and peaceful village, touristic with a flair. At the square by the sea turn left and follow the little path alongside the Hotel to the promontory's end.

Monticanaglia means Scoundrelmountains. It's not so far from the sea, but totally different; the mountains are impossible to tread but at the bottom you can understand that Sardinia is not a sea land

If your flight goes to Alghero don't miss a visit to the town, one of the few beatiful sardinian towns. It was Catalan reign, so they still speak some Catalan and you can find a real spanish paella.
