This is my go-to place when meeting friends for a coffee or light lunch. Why? It's a 5-10 minute leisurely walk from home through historic olive grove or quicker by car with easy parking in Dunn Street off Melbourne Street. The coffee and food is ALWAYS good and Amanda and her partner are excellent hosts.

They offer a variety of delicious cakes, pastries and biscuits made fresh daily by small Adelaide businesses. They are also gradually extending their range to include gluten-free, RAW and paleo options.

It's 12 minutes drive from here, has easy underground free parking and the shopping centre is spacious and always clean. For clothes Burnside has Zara, Seed, French Connection, Cue, Jigsaw, Lululemon Athletica etc and for food I like Viva Gourmet Fine Foods and Pasta Deli for take home pre -cooked pasta dishes, their antipasto range and salads. There is a large Coles and a number of good butchers and fish shops.
