The best micro Brewery we have ever visited in BC. This site use to be a water bottle company. There is a spring there which is now used for beer!

This is our favorite vineyard on the Island. The grapes are young but wine master does a great job in making unique taking wines. There is a pond there for the kids to explore and picnic benches for you to enjoy a snack and wine. In the summer, they have live music.

Did this trail with our kids. They had ferry doors all the way up. Drop by the info center to get the map. There are aerial views at the top!

Just an 8 minute walk down the road you will find our beach access. When you walk down the road on fort St. hang a left onto granville st. It is a pretty steep hill so you will have to be reasonably fit. When the tide goes out it is a great place for finding crabs and collecting shells. It's a bit cold when the tide comes in but still good for swimming. My younger kids love it for exploring.

Walkers Hook RoadJust an 8 minute walk down the road you will find our beach access. When you walk down the road on fort St. hang a left onto granville st. It is a pretty steep hill so you will have to be reasonably fit. When the tide goes out it is a great place for finding crabs and collecting shells. It's a bit cold when the tide comes in but still good for swimming. My younger kids love it for exploring.
Great place to go swimming or boating. They have a raft you can swim out to and a beach area for the younger one's to play. There are garter snakes that swim across the lake, which is always exciting to see.

Great walk! Once you make it to the stone stair way, you are just a few steps before your view opens up to the southern gulf islands. Very stunning on a sunny day. This is a very easy hike and a great place for exploring sea life.

Great hike that is not very popular with tourists. When you hang a left on Burgonyne Bay Rd keep an eye on your left for the trail that goes through the field. There will be some curb side parking. It's a lovely hike through donated farmland and then when you get to the forest, you hang a left and you can take this trail right to the beach (WARNING do not go out on the tide without water shoes. There are oysters just under the sand that can easily cut your feet). If you want a forest walk, there is a trail before the beach to your right. This trail will take you to Burgoyne Bay Road.

This is our favorite place to swim. There are two rafts; one for smaller kids and one for bigger. The water is great and there are minnows so bring a small net and a bucket to collect and observe.
